Target Audience: SENCo’s, EYFS leaders and practitioners.
This course will provide practitioners with the skills to write effective and meaningful outcomes for young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The SEND Code of Practice 2014 highlights the importance of listening to both children’s and parents’ aspiration as these should be used to plan outcomes to enable progress and set high expectations.
Course content includes
- Explore the meaning for aspiration.
- How children and parents express their aspirations.
- Identifying shared outcomes for focused support.
- Writing and reviewing outcomes.
