Target Audience: SENCo’s, EYFS leaders and practitioners
Sensory processing is important to enable us to learn and develop. Our body is designed to process sensory information as this will help the brain to make connections, learn, remember and recall.
Aim of the course: To develop practitioners understanding of the importance of sensory play through a hands-on exploration of a range of activities which they can develop in their setting.
- Explore the development of sensory play from the mouth and whole body to the hands.
The course will include a practical ideas pack.
- Understand how sensory processing is important to enable us to understand the world around us.
- Explore practical inclusive activities which you can use to develop back in your setting
