This course aims to support practitioners develop a working definition of school readiness which will inform policy and practice.
The term “School Readiness” is one we are all familiar with, What does it actually mean in practice? What are the essential skills, knowledge and aptitudes children really need when they start school? How are you measuring your children’s progress towards school readiness?
Sound foundations laid in the early years will give children a flying start, but it is important to make sure we focus our efforts in the most effective ways.
