This course is essential for those preparing snacks or serving food to children of all ages.
This is a three hour Highfield accredited course which is assessed with a multiple-choice examination which takes 30 minutes to complete.
Course content includes:
- an awareness of hazards and controls associated with food preparation
- contamination prevention
- temperature abuse of food and the importance of thorough cooking and rapid cooling
- personal hygiene
- cleaning and disinfection
The HABC Level 1 Award in Food Safety is accredited and recognised qualification.
