The aim of continuous provision is to support and encourage childrens continued learning without the constant intervention of practitioners, as well as fostering their current interest and growing independence.
This is an interactive course that will support and encourage participants to challenge their understanding of continuous provision through discussion and group tasks.
- Explore what is meant by continuous provision,
- How it can be set up and managed,
- How continuous provision can be made transferable
- How to make it fully inclusive to all children.
Debby is an independent Early Years Consultant based in Wirral, she has more than twenty years experience working in the childcare sector. During that time Debby has held a number of roles including nursery practitioner, pre-school supervisor, deputy manager and nursery manager. These roles have provided her with a wealth of experience in all areas of child care and development and supporting and managing practitioners. During the last couple of years Debby has worked as an independent Early Years Consultant supporting childcare settings in the North West to prepare for Ofsted inspections as well as improving and developing their practice following disappointing judgments from Ofsted.
We are delighted that she has joined EYQ as an associate trainer.
